What do you want to do? I mean, really? Statistics tell me that most of you have something you’d rather be doing. There are macro rather-be-doings (sailing the Meditteranean) and micro rather-be-doings (wearing yoga pants instead of tights).
For this excerise, it really doesn’t matter if your doing is big or small, because the first step to get started is always the same:
Just get started.
One foot in front of the other, one day at a time…take the first step.
The first step for yoga-pant-comfort is standing up (too easy, right?). The first step for the sailing trip is make a plan (and the plan itself has a first step). Maybe you take a peek at a web search on “sailing classes” or “books about sailing”. It’s true, this won’t land you in a boat under the Capri sun, but it takes you a tad closer than you were before you did it.
You’re tempted to blow off that web search because you can’t even afford the trip, you can’t get the time off, your wife would never agree to it (she wants to go to Scottsdale). OK, well if that’s where you mind wants to go — then that’s where you’ll go.
So, what do you want to do?
