Little welcomes. Spring!

Good Spring morning.  Pretty great words…

We’re finally into calendar Spring, not to be confused with the false Spring of warmth and sun that we’ve experienced over the last two weeks in Illinois.

As always I’ve got new words over at elephant journal and World Moms Blog.  I’ve covered Sustainable Guinness (yum), John O’Donohue and Irish inspiration, Keystone XL, Lincoln Memorial Gardens and an ecology meditation for when you are among the plants. And, darnit, fracking.

Take a read in your free moments.
A poem to share:

In Just By E. E. Cummings

in Just-
spring          when the world is mud-
luscious the little
lame balloonman

whistles          far          and wee

and eddieandbill come
running from marbles and
piracies and it’s
spring

when the world is puddle-wonderful

the queer
old balloonman whistles
far          and             wee
and bettyandisbel come dancing

from hop-scotch and jump-rope and

it’s
spring
and

         the

                  goat-footed

balloonMan          whistles
far
and
wee
