A Flâneur Through Beaune

My Visit to Maison Joseph Drouhin

I “met” Cindy from Grape Experiences virtually, though in fact we were in the same event at Public Chicago when Vins de Provence took over The Pump Room in February for their 2015 tasting. We didn’t realize it, until later, that we’d likely brushed past one another with a glass of rosé in hand.

Always one for creative collaboration, I am excited to share my guest post on Grape ExperiencesA Flâneur Through Beaune. The story unfolds my quest to visit the Hospices de Beaune – Musée de l’Hôtel-Dieu, gorgeous hotels and perfect dinners. Wine tasting with the masters, bookings that include wine experiences and people watching with the locals are highlights that I share. Please enjoy the article on Cindy’s stylish and comprehensive website:

A Flâneur Through Beaune – Guest Post

Cindy’s knowledge runs deep, and she offers it with taste and grace. Grape Experiences includes Wine Reviews, Wine Region Details, Events & Travel Coverage and Wine Connoisseur Profiles (and she’s met some impressive professionals). Cindy also offers a cache of recipes to pair with the wines she recommends. I loved her recent pizza and wine pairings, which saved me from a boring slow cooker meal: 7 Captivating Wines to Ramp Up Pizza Night (we are both from Chicago, were pizza IS gourmet).

Cindy has completed the Wine and Spirit Education Tru st Level 3 class and holds the WSET Level 3 Advanced Certificate with Merit. She’s one of Exel Wines’ Top 100 Most Influential Wine Bloggers of 2015.  You’ll enjoy her blog, every last sip.

Thanks for taking a moment to check out the article and get to know Cindy. You never know if you might be in the same room with her!

  1. Oh my goodness, thank you, Jill!! Your words are so kind! I’m thrilled to have your guest post on my site. Your writing speaks to so many people including me. I can’t wait to visit Beaune with your recommendations in hand. I can’t wait to meet you “in real life” soon. Cheers, my friend!
